We have two female ferrets, Kay, and Ritchie. They apparently were abandoned by someone, and wandered into a friend's backyard. He didn't want to deal with them so eventually we took them. They're very cute, but terrible troublemakers.
Ron's gallery has pictures of the ferrets.
Kay is quite small and fairly quiet. She doesn't eat nearly as much as her sister. She also isn't as good about using a litter box when out of her cage.
Ritchie isn't particularly large for a ferret, but she's much heavier than Kay. She also tends to be the bigger troublemaker. When she wants out of the cage she grabs the bars of the door with her teeth and shakes her whole body back and forth to rattle them.
We are about to get a husky called Maverick. A friend of my mother owns him, but lives in an appartment and can't keep him entertained.
Maverick is three years old, and either a full husky or almost full husky. He is extremely energetic and strong. When he wants to jump up at you he can balance himself in the air on his back paws for a suprisingly long time. He has beautiful light blue eyes. I've only met him once but I think we're going to get along very well.
We have our first pictures of Maverick.
